On Saturday our residential city of Casey hosted a FREE kids carnival. They had jumping castles, rides and food stalls galore - it looked to be a fun day out for all...
...however, within minutes of arriving, a huge storm blew in. The wind was so strong it lifted the jumping castle we were standing in queue for. For reasons of obvious safety, we decided to retreat to the car and headed to the local mall for coffee!
Even though the carnival was rained out - we are all still very thankful for the much needed rain! The once sun burnt grass and fire burnt trees are all sprouting new green growth thanks to the good watering they have reveived in the last few days.
