Berries and Shopping

We have had a wonderfully busy family week. It has been so great to have Angus on leave, we have been enjoying loads of fun time together.
Monday was definitely a highlight. We went berry picking in the Dandenong mountains. Emily was explaining to us on the way there that she does not like berries, and so she would just be picking, but not eating. Well, it turns out that she does infact like berries and cherries very much, she and Stephen ate most of what they picked as they picked them. Sally joined us for the morning, and she definitely had the most talent when it came to picking, she took home more than the 4 of us put together.

Angus found the 'cherry' load - my berry stained hands.

After picking - and eating - the berries, we went off to a picnic area for a bit of lunch.

Stephen turned into a total 'poser' whenever the camera came out.

A kookabarra (spelling?) bird.

On Tuesday we went shopping at the DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) shops. It is a huge mall with shops selling marked down goods. Angus and I were both able to buy new Addidas trainers and Emily got her first pair of school shoes, she was so excited that she wore them for the rest of the day.
