Life has been pretty 'full on' (please excuse the Aussie expression) the past few weeks.
We have been blessed with many fun adventures together as a family.
A huge highlight was our weekend away in August with friends to Mt Baw Baw.
The kids had an absolute ball playing in the snow and Angus managed two days of snowboarding.
It was a magical weekend with the intermittent snow falling and the sun shining through now and then.

Emily, myself and some friends headed to the city last weekend for a little bit of art culture.

We had a great time together, did loads of walking and a little too much shopping at the Fossil outlet shop :-)

The last Friday of the school holidays we watched the local production of Goldilocks, afterwards we had a picnic lunch and impromptu photo shoot.

The kids were sick most of the holidays, so it was great to get out a little at the end - of course, my son had to add to the holiday mishaps by burning his lip on a hot oven shelf that I had taken out and put on the stove top.

The kids have been begging for a swim in the spa but it has just been too cold - well the weather had warmed quite a bit and so they ventured a dip today.
In true Melbourne style - 10 minutes after they got in, the grey clouds forced them out of the spa and into the warm shower.

To celebrate the beginning of spring (and Father's Day), we went in search of a beach...we had a wonderful day together exploring some new places.

Last term, Stephen started 3 year old kinder. He is absolutely loving it!!!
He nags me to take him all week, then the moment we arrive he begs me to take him home - oi!
He struggles a little with separation anxiety - but it is heaps better now than when we started...he has actually been tear-free the past two days - YAY!
Emily had her book week at school.
This year she chose to dress up as 'Christian' from Pilgrim's Progress.

The kids LOVED every minute of the riding - but no, we will not be investing in a pony any time soon ;-)

Emily's class did a little sing-a-long for some very special people at the local aged care facility.
The lady with Emily is 98 years old - and she is young compared to a number of the other folk.

Melani, her mum and daughter, Emily and I, spent a Saturday morning in Yarragon.
It is one of those touristy towns where you eat too much and buy too much...great day out!

Emily and Stephen enjoyed a temporary ice-rink at the local shopping centre.

My favourite tree in our near-by park.
It is such a great representation of God's detailed creativity in the changing seasons.
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:20
