The other day we were sitting at the meal table when Emily said that her tooth was sore and she wanted to go to the dentist. Stephen who felt he needed to contribute to the conversation said that his tummy was sore and he wanted to go to the bank!
Emily received a digital camera for her birthday and she has had great fun taking photos and learning how the self timer works. All the photos on this page were taken with her camera - and most of them taken by her.

Emily took her camera with to school on her birthday, this is her teacher - Mrs Davy, and some of her friends.

This past week Emily was the star of the week in her class. Every child gets a chance to be the star of the week, and what this means is that the 'star' gets to take some photos and special toys to school so that the other kids get to know the 'star' a little better. The 'star' also gets to sit on a special cushion in class and then take the class koala home for the weekend.

i like the 'star'concept in school a lot, seems nice to get to know the kids better and for all of them to be special for a week!
