We had a particularly hot day on Wednesday, so Angus came home early from work and we headed off to the beach for a picnic supper. The kids really enjoyed themselves, Stephen just loves sand, and Emily just loves to build - a good combination. The closest beach is about 20 minutes drive from our house, we got there about 6:45pm and headed backhome at 8:30pm to get the kids to bed.
