We had a wonderful February, it was a month full of fun and celebration!

Camping - Cape Patterson
A group of South African friends invited us to join them on a camping trip.
It was the first time we ever camped with the kids, needless to say they absolutely loved the whole experience (except for the part where we packed up to go home).
Hopefully there will be many more trips in our future!
On the way to the camp site, we stopped for lunch at the coolest dairy farm - Caldermeade.
Setting up the tent took less than 5 minutes...love these modern tents!
The camp site was a 3 minutes walk from the beach
(if you walked really slowly :-)).
The kids loved exploring the rock pools.

The Gouviea's container arrived from South Africa, the kids had a great time discovering their long lost toys! And Wendy enjoyed finding her long lost kitchen appliances - especially their coffee machine :-)
Louie Giglio & Chris Tomlin
Wow, what a wonderful night being reminded about the Greatness of our God!
One of my most precious memories is of Emily singing along with Chris Tomlin,
"How Great is our God!" (one of her favourite worship songs).
3 Disney Princess Tales
We decided not to have a party for Emily's birthday this year, but we still wanted to celebrate our little 8 year old lady. So together with some close friends, we headed into the city for a day of Princess fun!
After the show we had lunch and cupcakes on the South Bank.
Emily and Stephen went home with Maria for some further fun at a sleep-over.

Anniversary
Angus and I stayed in the city to celebrate our 14th Wedding Anniversary.
We enjoyed a picnic together, with Sting serenading us under the Melbourne night sky.

Back to School
Emily started Grade 2 this year, she was so excited to see all her friends again on a daily basis.
We managed to get a place for him at a wonderful Christian school, and a bonus - he is in the same class as his good friend, Chloe.
He has settled so quickly, he is maturing into such a big boy, but he will always be my baby!

Emily's birthday
Birthday cupcakes for Emily's class.
My beautiful little lady.
Emily has such a gentle character.
She loves expressing her creativity in drawing the most amazingly detailed pictures, but her greatest love is painting!
She has a genuine love for her Creator and her conscience guides her daily.
Her favourite book at the moment is Pilgrim's Progress and she reads it whenever she gets the chance.
Her favourite meals are still spaghetti and pizza. She has a real sweet tooth and often wishes that sweets and chocolates were the healthy foods instead of fruit and vegetables.
She loves singing and dancing - she is a real joy to have around!
