The one morning we headed off into the hills to pick berries again.
It was a much cooler day than last year and once again, the kids had a wonderful time.
Lara and kids came with us for the morning.
Afterwards I had to take Lara to Grants Picnic Grounds to feed the birds.
Lara did not quite understand what I meant by 'feed the birds' - she had visions of giving ducks some bread - but she just loved having the parrots come feed out of her hand. Her son thought it was great but her little girl was not very impressed with the birds.
Emily, who is now a bird feeding veteran, had a great time...one of the birds ended up landing on her head, which she thought was just hilarious!
Stephen was a bit of a brat and kept trying to pull out their tail feathers...
