The last few weeks of Emily's school term were rather hectic but full of fun!
The Preps have grown up so much the past year and are ready for Grade 1 in 2010!
Emily received some very exciting news, Mrs Davy will be her teacher next year again - YAY!
My little water baby enjoyed every minute.
Unfortunately I could not stay as Stephen twisted his ankle and I had to take him home to bandage him up (thumbs up for arnica!). It was so sweet watching him limp around the next couple of days.
Since Emily's school performed the musical Annie, we decided to try and give the children a practical lesson about helping orphans. The kids in Em's class donated some of their pre-loved toys to be sold to raise funds for 1hope4africa - a ministry helping orphans and refugees in South Africa. You can read about the great work they do at http://www.1hope4africa.com/
To end the year, Mrs Davy organised for her class to perform the nativity play at a local nursing home, followed by a picnic at her farm. Her farm used to be a wild-life reserve, so she has many fun Aussie animals from wallabies to dingos.
